Blending Unit

Mix or blend two or three types of material into one

Applications:

  • Blending dust with aggregates
  • Blending recycled materials with virgin aggregates
  • Blending different grades of coal

Blending Unit Key Benefits:

  • Variable speed control - operator can change the amount of material they wish to blend from each material storage hopper at any time.

Specification:

  • Material transfer rate of up to 500 Tonnes Per Hour — Bin 1 — 250 tph Bin 2 — 125 tph Bin 3 — 125 tph
  • Mounted on a heavy duty channel and I beam chassis
  • On-site mobility comes from a skid mounted frame.
  • Machine can be shipped in 40 ft containers.

3 x Primary Belt feed hoppers includes:

  • 7 cubic metre capacity hopper, constructed from 6mm mild steel plate designed for loading with a front end loading shovel from both sides
  • (3.8 metre x 2.85 metre top opening)
  • Feed-in Height— 4.1 metres
  • Variable height gates.
  • Operated on a 380v, 3hp, 50Hz Electricity Supply
  • Lagged Head Drum and crowned tail drum
  • 127mm troughing rollers © 20 degrees
  • Polyurethane Scrapers at head and Plough scrapers at tails
  • 4Kw NORD electric motor with Direct drive reduction gear-box.
  • All feeder motors to have frequency invertor to accurately control blend rates.
  • 900mm wide EPSOO 3 ply belt
  • Pillow block bearings.
  • 2 x Vibratory motors on the Sand Bin.
  • Chinese hat above belt to decrease pressure on the belt.
  • Material sensors to stop other belt feeders if any of the belts run out of material.

Dragout conveyor to include:

  • Lagged Head Drum and crowned tail drum
  • 127mm dia troughing rollers @ 20 degrees
  • 7,2Kw electric motor with inverter to adjust flow rate.
  • 1050mm wide EP500 3 ply belt
  • Fully extended feed boot skirting with rubber until transfer point.
  • Extra rollers under discharge from feeders (set at 250 mm centres)

Incline Conveyor includes:

  • Heavy duty lattice frame construction
  • Operated on a 380v, 3hp, 50Hz Electricity Supply
  • 10.4 metres between head and tail drum centre
  • Lagged Head Drum
  • 127mm dia troughing rollers
  • 15Kw electric motor with Direct drive reduction gear-box.
  • 900mm wide EPSOO 3 ply belt
  • Fixed discharge height of 4.250mm
  • 3 x Return Rollers
  • Guarding of return rollers and nip points
  • Feed boot

Chassis includes:

  • Constructed from 254mm x 146mm section with channel uprights.
  • Panel with feeder control settings and e/ stops.
  • Manual setting jacklegs.
